World Food Day

During the World Food Day celebrations we created events on the eTwinning Live and Europe Code Week page to present the work of our younger students while trying to show the connection between "Diet and Climate Change" using the code (scratch). So we all took part in the CodeWeek4All challenge.

We also had to present this link creatively to the nearby primary school students, but unfortunately due to the covid pandemic we were unable to enter the schools. We were pleased that our Turkish partners managed to visit an elementary school in their area.

The Turkish partner school visited "Mustafa Necati Primary School" both to disseminate our project and to draw children's attention to food loss and waste.

The 10 year old students made paintings prepared by project project students about seasonal foods.

They were distributed plates on which slogans about food waste were written and asked questions related how to prevent food waste in daily life.

All students held partner countries' flags and said no to waste food.
